Opis stanowiska
O projekcie:
The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining our Java-based applications that handle taxation, account management, and investment processing for our pension and savings products.
Wymagania:
- Strong experience in Java 21 and Java-based application development- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related Java frameworks- Proven experience with relational databases and PostgreSQL SQL- Practical experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ, or similar protocols- Strong proficiency in Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate- Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines- Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Very good command of English, both spoken and written
Codzienne zadania:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investment products
- Build and enhance calculation engines ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple countries
- Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, tax authority integrations, and customer-facing reporting
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor developers and act as a code reviewer and design sparring partner
- Promote practical engineering practices across the development team
- Use AI-assisted development and automation responsibly to improve productivity, quality, and learning
- Contribute strong collaboration and analytical skills to solve complex technical challenges
