(Senior) Java Developer (B2B)

Responsibilities • You are part of a team dedicated to supporting a customer in the German financial industry, specifically in the field of life insurance. • You develop Java applications with usage of techstack:• Jakarta EE • Java 17+ • Podman • Gitlab • Db2 • Maven • JSF • You are responsible for the product you build. • You proactively bring in ideas to create innovative solutions. • You work in an agile environment, using scrum. • You meet with your team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month to plan your work and discuss progress. • You take responsibility in a self-organized team.  Qualifications • Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science • At least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, with skills that align with the project’s technology stack.  • Experience in Life Insurance projects is a plus.  • Experience working in an agile environment.  • Experience working in a self-organized team.  • Very good communication skills in English and Polish.  • Communication skills in German is a plus.  • Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit to the office per month.  About Fincon Reply Fincon Reply is a business and IT consultancy specializing in the financial services industry.
