Senior/Lead Backend Engineer

Responsibilities • Own and drive evolution of the backend platform, leading architectural and technical changes across core systems • Collaborate closely with product designers and fellow backend engineers to turn real-world IT workflows into scalable, well-designed systems • Build and evolve a globally distributed system for asset management, device delivery, HRIS integrations, and an autonomous IT admin agent • Design and implement backend architecture, with a focus on reliability, extensibility, and long-term scalability • Deliver new backend capabilities end-to-end, from concept and design through implementation and production rollou Qualifications • 5+ experience on a similar position • Preferably experience in small companies • Extensive experience with one of languages - Java, Kotlin or Python • Strong practical experience with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot—we generate a lot of code! • Strong testing culture — engineers are responsible for testing the code they write Additional Information • 20 days off on top of the salary • up to 0.2% ESOP • We provide equipment(MacBook Pro 14 or 16) • Multisport Interview • Home Assignment: A practical task based on a real production problem to assess your problem-solving skills.
