Your Role As a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll take ownership of backend solutions end-to-end: from gathering requirements, through architecture and implementation, to explaining and defending technical decisions. You’ll work closely with clients and mentor other developers. Responsibilities • Design and develop PHP applications from scratch • Gather requirements and propose well-reasoned technical solutions • Design and maintain APIs, internal services, and data exchange systems • Design and implement CMS systems • Create new modules and evolve existing systems • Make architectural decisions and evaluate alternatives • Review code and support less experienced developers • Collaborate with DevOps on deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring Requirement • This role requires full-time onsite work (no remote or hybrid options). Candidates must be willing and able to work from our office near the Plac Wilsona metro station • 5+ years of commercial experience as a PHP Developer • Very good knowledge of PHP 8.1+ • Strong commercial experience with Symfony or Laravel • Deep understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) • Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and coding standards • Experience with automated testing and testing concepts • Good understanding of application security and common vulnerabilities • Solid understanding of Git and software development workflows • Experience working in a team using Agile methodologies • Ability to independently gather requirements, design solutions, and justify decisions • Effective use of AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.) • English at B2+ level Nice to Have • Docker and containerized environments • CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or GitHub) • Monitoring and observability tools • Experience in fintech or high-traffic systems • Basic frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS) Rates (B2B) • 110–140 PLN / hour Recruitment Process • Intro call (30 min) • Senior-level technical interview • Architecture & decision-making discussion • Offer
