Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities • Implement and maintain scalable backend services and platform components for the analytics platform based on existing architecture. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain direct communication with clients to deliver new features and resolve issues. • Ensure high-quality, stable solutions, including in situations requiring rapid response. • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including critical issues under time pressure. • Share knowledge and best practices within an experienced team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Stay current with emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend services or analytics platforms. • Strong proficiency in Python. • Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, and distributed systems. • Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas or Polars. • Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., GCP) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. • Knowledge of FastAPI or similar frameworks for building high-performance APIs is an asset. • Experience with Apache Spark, Ray.io, or Daft (getdaft.io) is considered an advantage.
