Senior Python Developer

Nasze wymagania: Senior-level experience building and testing applications in Python, Strong knowledge of: Object-oriented programming and test-driven development (TDD), Testing principles and tools (pytest), SOLID principles and design patterns, Familiarity with coding best practices, code review standards, and Git version control, Agile development experience and CI/CD exposure. Mile widziane: MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, or similar technical fields, Knowledge of credit risk or related financial domains, Experience with scientific computing libraries (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, polars, Matplotlib), Familiarity with big data tools (PySpark), Contributions to open-source projects or Python libraries. O projekcie: We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our Financial Engineering team within the Global Risk Analytics area. This role focuses on Model Enablement, working closely with internal stakeholders to enhance and maintain toolkits that standardize and accelerate credit risk model development across the organization. Zakres obowiązków: Develop and maintain a Python library for risk modelling. Implement and enhance test suites using best practices and pytest. Ensure adherence to OOP principles, SOLID guidelines, and code quality standards. Conduct code reviews and promote clean, pythonic code. Support users, gather requirements, and quickly prototype solutions. Work in an Agile environment with CI/CD practices.
