Senior Python Developer

O projekcie: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer (minimum 10 years of experience) who has extensive experience working with data and databases. The candidate should be comfortable working with large data sets and have a good understanding of SQL architecture and queries. About the project: You will join an international team developing a platform for consolidating and reporting market risks for the financial sector. The system is used to aggregate financial data and risks, transform them, and generate reports—all on an enterprise scale. Some components are developed in Python, and the role is purely backend, with an emphasis on pipeline automation and data processing. Technologies and tools: - Python (advanced use – pandas, numpy, json, requests, etc.) - SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) - Processing data from various formats: CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, Avro - REST API - Continuous Integration (Jenkins) - Testing: unittest / pytest - OLAP and MDX (welcome) Working in an Agile environment Wymagania: - Min. 10 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 7 years of working with Python in a production environment - Ability to design and build scalable data processing solutions - Experience working with large volumes of data and creating automated pipelines - Good knowledge of application architecture, security principles, code quality, testing, and CI/CD - Knowledge of financial risk issues
