👉 About EVCON (Employer)
EVCON is a dynamic Polish startup specializing in CAE simulation process automation and the implementation of AI enablement practices in engineering. We create advanced solutions for global leaders in the automotive industry, including prestigious British luxury and sports car manufacturers, as well as top-tier engineering teams.
👉 About the Client
Our partner is a US-based technology company that has been developing innovative autonomous transport and smart mobility systems for over 10 years. The company operates as an independent entity, while also being part of one of the world's largest global technology giants listed on the stock exchange, which ensures exceptional stability and a massive scale of operations for the project.
👉 About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer who will take full ownership of engineering process automation. The primary focus of this role is to design and build tools that directly automate and streamline the vehicle development process.
Other areas of your scope include:
•
AI Enablement: Implementing and leveraging artificial intelligence tools to optimize, document, and accelerate the automation pipelines being built.
• Architecture Evolution: Leading the transition of our tooling environment from an MVP stage into a stable, scalable production architecture.
We are looking for a highly autonomous technical leader who thrives on close teamwork, excellent communication, and taking absolute "ownership" of the technical pipeline. We offer a stable long-term collaboration of 40 hours per week in an international environment (USA/UK).
⚠️ Logistics, Onboarding & Language
•
Onboarding: 1 month hybrid setup (1-2 days a week in the Krakow office for smooth integration).
• Target Work Model: Fully remote, with the flexibility to visit the Krakow office ad-hoc based on project milestones or team alignment.
• Language: Technical interviews are conducted in Polish and English. Daily project work and client communication are 100% in English.
👉 Your Responsibilities
•
Process Identification & Execution: Working with engineering teams to understand the vehicle development process, identifying automation opportunities and bottlenecks, and taking ideas from conception to deployment, training, and post-deployment issue resolution.
• Process Ownership: Taking full responsibility for the architecture, development, and maintenance of tools automating processes and operations on CAD / CAE data.
• AI Enablement: Implementing AI tools and practices into daily coding workflows to optimize, document, and accelerate the automation pipelines being built.
• Scaling Architecture: Refactoring existing scripts and building a stable, fault-tolerant server-side environment for engineering data processing.
• Teamwork and Communication: Close, daily collaboration with an international team of engineers (USA / UK) to map user needs, gather requirements, and co-develop standards.
👉 Our Requirements
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in Python programming and complex process automation.
• High autonomy and an ownership mindset – the ability to independently drive topics from A to Z, propose solutions, and take responsibility for them.
• Excellent soft skills: strong communication, transparency in action, and a proactive approach to teamwork.
• Experience in the AI enablement field: practical knowledge of AI-powered tools and an openness to implementing AI-First standards in code and documentation creation.
• Good knowledge of version control systems (GitHub) and deployment-related topics (CI/CD, environment management).
• Very good command of English – essential for daily, seamless communication with teams in the US and UK.
• Readiness to work from the Krakow office ad-hoc (although the target role is fully remote, occasional office presence may be required depending on project needs).
• Optionally, readiness to travel to the client’s site in the UK (ad-hoc, sporadic).
👉 Nice to Have
• Experience working with data or engineering environments such as CAD / CAE (e.g., automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering industries).
• Experience in automating engineering processes within R&D departments.
👉 Why is it Worth It?
• Real Impact and Autonomy: You get a free hand in shaping the architecture and processes, becoming a key partner for the engineering team.
• Great Remote Flexibility: A fully remote target model combined with a brief, supportive 1-month onboarding period to get you up to speed seamlessly.
• Stable and Transparent Collaboration: A long-term project with a clear roadmap for the upcoming quarters, steady workload (40h/week), and an attractive B2B rate.
