As a Senior Python & Node.js Backend Developer – Cloud Security Focus, you will be working for our client, an industry leader dedicated to transforming software security platforms. In this role, you'll drive technical excellence, influence strategic cloud solutions, and contribute to building scalable, secure, and resilient services at scale. Your main responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of cloud-native backend services, ensuring resilience, observability, and cost efficiency on GCP.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python (Django) and Node.js (Typescript/NestJS) applications, deploying high-performance solutions.
• Architect solutions leveraging GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub, aligning with industry best practices.
• Implement security-driven features, including OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows, adopting Zero Trust models.
• Translate business needs into effective technical architectures and solutions.
• Contribute to automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform.
• Mentor team members, share knowledge, and promote best practices within agile teams.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, such as Go-Lang, Rust, and Typescript, and guide the community on evolving technical standards.

You're ideal for this role if you have:
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Python and/or Node.js in production environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with GCP services including GKE, Cloud Run, and Terraform.
• Deep understanding of high-concurrency PostgreSQL query optimization and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience with security design, including OAuth2/OpenID Connect and Zero Trust principles.
• Ability to design scalable, secure backend services with high-performance components, potentially in Go-lang.
• A full stack mindset with a focus on backend engineering excellence.
• A track record of delivering impactful, resilient solutions and contributing to open-source projects or technical blogging.

It is a strong plus if you have:
• Experience in problem-solving and opportunity engineering.
• Recognized for building quality products and thinking holistically about solutions.
• Knowledge of Go-Lang, Rust, or similar emerging technologies.

Language Required for the role:
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
