Project info:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Policy-as Code (OPA) to design, implement, and manage policy-driven governance across cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA), CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices to build scalable, secure, and automated policy enforcement solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Policy-as-Code solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.
• Integrate policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and compliant software delivery.
• Develop reusable policy frameworks for infrastructure, Kubernetes, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement governance and compliance controls.
• Automate policy validation, testing, and deployment across multiple environments.
• Troubleshoot policy-related issues and optimize policy performance.
• Contribute to software design, code reviews, testing, and documentation following engineering best practices.
• Stay current with emerging trends in cloud security, Policy-as-Code, and DevSecOps.
Job requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.
• Experience implementing Policy-as-Code frameworks in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Experience with Git-based version control and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Kubernetes admission controllers and policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
