🔍 Senior Software Engineer  Location: 100 % remote Contract: B2B Capacity: Full time Rate: 120 to 150 PLN + VAT/h   We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an internal engineering team at Kyotu Technology, working on advanced systems related to digital identity, document verification, and secure data processing.  The team builds and develops solutions used for validating document authenticity, processing structured data, and integrating complex systems in environments with high security requirements. These systems focus on reliability, data integrity, and secure communication between distributed services.  While Java is the core technology, we are looking for an engineer with a broad technological perspective, comfortable working across different languages, tools, and system components depending on project needs. You will join a mature Agile team of senior-level specialists, where autonomy, ownership, and strong technical decision-making are expected and valued.   💡 Who we are Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode across Poland. Our teams have real influence on technical and architectural decisions.   🚀 Must haves: • min. 7 years of experience in Java backend development • hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot and modern backend frameworks • experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL • practical experience with Docker • experience with system integrations (REST and/or SOAP) • ability to work across different technologies and system layers (backend-first, with openness to other areas) • high level of adaptability and independence in a dynamic environment • strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and problem-solving mindset • good communication skills and team orientation • experience in building modern frontend applications (e.g. React, Angular, Vue) • familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • English at B2 level ✨ Nice to have: • knowledge of additional programming languages • experience with desktop applications (e.g. JavaFX, Swing) • German at B2 level 📦 What we offer: • rate: 120 to 150 PLN + VAT/h • contract: B2B, long-term cooperation • work model: remote or hybrid ( meetings at the office in Wrocław once a month) • team: senior engineering team with real ownership • projects: technically challenging systems in the area of security, data processing, and system integrations
