Senior Software Engineer

Nasze wymagania: Basic Qualifications: • 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) • Develop and maintain backend services using Golang following existing architecture and coding standards • Strong Golang or Java and open to learning Golang • Implement features, bug fixes, and system improvements based on well defined requirements • Collaborate with senior engineers during technical discussions and product refinements • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established best practices • Support AWS infrastructure provisioning and updates using Terraform under team guidance • Monitor applications using logs, metrics, and observability tools • Participate in code reviews as a contributor • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing • Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross functional teams • Nice to have skills • Experience with distributed systems • Background in high-scale environments • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Containers/Docker • Familiarity with event driven systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS) • Experience of using Test Driven Development (TDD) Language Skills: • Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate). Zakres obowiązków: Pismo are looking for a mid-level backend Engineer to help begin the Europe Localization team. As Pismo expands globally, we are looking to expand the number of features in different markets outside of the core platform. This role demands a strong focus on security, scalability, observability, and reliability, as the team is responsible for mission-critical components. The ideal candidate will combine excellent technical knowledge, architectural design, and the mentorship of more junior developers to guide the team through complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality, resilient solutions while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
