Senior Software Engineer - Health Platform

As a Software Engineer in the Data Foundations team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the platform that empowers Google Health engineers to build features for users. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying back-end services and intuitive automation tools using Java, Go, and Kotlin. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly improve engineering efficiency and code quality, collaborating with a team and contributing to a culture of automation and innovation. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from understanding user needs to deploying and maintaining scalable solutions. The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable. Zakres obowiązków: Build and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of software. Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot and resolve issues. Identify and address technical debt within the team's codebase and systems. Contribute to the team's technical documentation and knowledge sharing efforts.
