Senior Software Engineer (Java + SQL), Assistant Vice President

Nasze wymagania: 4-8 years of experience in Java development - preferably in the FinTech (financial markets) area B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical course of study required. MS degree strongly preferred. The Senior Software Engineer will work on developing new Java middle tier/server-side functionality for the system with some involvement in front-end development. This position will involve new product development and requires financial software experience or alternatively a strong understanding and interest in financial markets. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong, senior level engineering team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space. This job is a hybrid role with at 3 days in the office per week, which you can perform from our offices in Krakow and Gdansk. Zakres obowiązków: Contribute as a Sr. Individual Contributor within a team of top engineers Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements using Java, SQL. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers Direct problem solving for projects or major phases of projects to resolve software technical issues Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality product. Conduct manual tests to ensure a high-quality product. Plan and coordinate cross-team activities to complete assignments. Mentoring and guiding on designs to Junior Engineers Demonstrate more independence of design and development.
