The role involves designing and building solutions that support mission-critical data production and delivery. The position is based in Gdańsk, Poland and is suited for a mid-to-senior level engineer who can work independently and deliver reliable results.   Responsibilities you’ll have • Design and build cloud-based tools for aeronautical data product creation • Develop solutions supporting data production and delivery with a focus on automation • Work independently on complex projects and seek input from the team when needed • Deliver mission-critical data production and delivery solutions • Maintain high standards of code quality, best practices, and operational excellence • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to bring solutions into production   Expected competences and knowledge • Experience writing custom ETL pipelines • Experience designing, deploying, and operating services within AWS • Experience working with and optimizing relational and spatial databases (PostgreSQL, PostGIS, psycopg2, JDBC) • Extensive and current experience in Java development • Experience with microservices architecture • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Experience with application monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting production applications • Interest in aviation or experience building solutions for the aviation domain • Experience working with globally distributed teams • Strong communication skills Nice to have • Experience with aviation standards (DO-200, DO-330, ARINC-424, DO-272) • Experience with regulatory-compliant software (DO-200, DO-330, DO-178, medical devices, etc.)   Technologies you'll work with • JAMA • Java • Spring Boot • Angular • Python • GitHub • PostgreSQL • PostGIS • Jest, Playwright • Groovy/Spock • PyTest • AWS • EKS • GitHub Actions • GitHub Security Suite • GitHub Registry • Terraform • FastAPI   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
