Software Engineer – C# with Financial Domain Expertise Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a team focused on developing and enhancing systems that support trade processing and lifecycle management within a global financial environment. This role involves hands-on software development aimed at automating business workflows, modernizing technology stacks, and collaborating with cross-regional teams. You’ll work closely with colleagues in New York and Warsaw to build and maintain low-latency systems for position management, supporting a wide range of Macro trading activities. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain platforms for trade processing and position management in a dynamic trading environment. • Drive modernization efforts through the adoption of cloud technologies, system re-architecture, and business process optimization. • Collaborate with global technology and business teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with strategic objectives. • Ensure system reliability and efficiency through best practices in software engineering and continuous integration. Required Qualifications • At least 4 years of professional experience in C#/.NET and SQL development. • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, and Agile software delivery. • Experience with message-based architectures, caching solutions, and real-time or transactional systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with financial markets and instruments, such as Fixed Income, FX, Credit, Equities, or derivatives. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • High ethical standards and commitment to quality.
