Team Lead (.NET)

For our Client operating in the backup & disaster recovery domain, we are looking for a .NET Team Leader who will take on a key leadership role within a growing R&D organization. The company develops its own proprietary products, used globally — including by Fortune 500 companies — and is currently in a phase of strong growth and expansion of its engineering teams. This is an environment where you can have a real impact on the product, people, and technological direction. 📍 Hybrid – remote work + 2 days per week from the office 📍 Offices: Poznań / Kraków, with additional locations planned this year 🚀 The Role We are looking for an Engineering Team Leader (.NET/C#) — someone with a strong software development background who wants to focus primarily on people management, team development, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. This is not a pure Tech Lead role — while technical competence is important, leadership and soft skills are key. 🔧 Your Responsibilities • Managing a development team (building, leading, mentoring), • End-to-end responsibility for product/project development in cooperation with the Product Manager, • Ensuring high software engineering standards (SOLID principles, best practices), • Conducting code reviews, • Partial hands-on work in the codebase, • Close collaboration with QA, Product, DevOps/Infrastructure, Support, and Customer Success teams, • Supporting the team in solving technical challenges, • Co-creating and maintaining technical and project documentation, • Participating in technical recruitment processes (e.g. live coding, code reviews). 🧠 Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience leading a development team (at least 3 people), • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with .NET / C#, • Strong knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID, and design patterns, • Experience working with SQL databases (NoSQL is a plus), • Knowledge of Git, Jira, Docker, • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, • Polish and English — communicative level (B2), • A people-oriented mindset with a focus on mentoring, motivation, and team growth. ⭐ Nice to Have • Kubernetes, VMware, Hyper-V, • S3 Storage, SignalR, TeamCity, • Experience with desktop applications, • Low-level programming experience. 🎁 Benefits • Private medical care, • Sports card (e.g. Multisport), • Training and development budget, • English lessons during working hours, • Additional days off (health prevention day, menstrual leave), • Employee referral program, integrations, company events, • Real influence on the product and organizational growth. 📌We will contact only selected candidates who meet the requirements specified in the job posting.
