THE WORK You lead the Premium Features squad - the team that extends, maintains, and re-architects high-value functionality built for our biggest bank clients. You keep it running. You make it better. You run the squad and you write the code. Both, seriously. This role is built for engineers who want the scope of leadership without stepping away from the craft. The context: we're scaling engineering to match a growing business and a full commitment to AI. The platform is in active transformation - performance, architecture, and AI - and the engineers driving it care deeply about getting it right. Premium Features sits at the centre of that. Your squad ships what our biggest clients actually pay for, and what you build sets the bar the rest of the platform follows. WHAT YOU GET - Competitive salary + equity: B2B, 24-32k PLN + VAT, + ESOPs - Hybrid- 2 days in office, 3 remote - Private healthcare, fitness, meal & phone allowance - A team where technical opinions are welcomed, not managed - Software that runs inside real global banks, used by millions of people every day Wymagania: WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Accountability over activity - you own a feature from the first conversation to the client's environment, and you care what happens after it ships - Lead by example - you've led engineers who grew under you - and took on ownership they wouldn't have reached alone - Business-minded - you understand what's at stake for the client, engage with Product and Commercial as partners, and treat Support tickets as signal, not noise - Can-do under constraints - on-premises bank environments are demanding; you find a way, not an excuse - Strong in C#/.NET - with real experience in database-heavy systems - this is not CRUD territory - AI-native - you use AI tools as a natural part of how you work (currently Cursor & Claude Code) Codzienne zadania: - Own the squad end-to-end - delivery, quality, and the client relationship around your services. Not just your part of the stack - Co-own the squad backlog - squads are small and autonomous; you help shape direction aligned with the company’s vision, not just execute tickets - Write code and lead people - technical decisions, architecture calls, growing engineers - you do both, and neither suffers - Be the engineering face to clients - you join client calls, understand what they actually need, and translate it into something your squad can ship. Clients trust people, not tickets - Get it shipped - you remove blockers, make the call when there’s no consensus, and take accountability for what lands. The goal is production, not progress updates
