Technology industry Remote work from Poland Salary : 185PLN/h on B2B contract Introduction & Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join a global fintech organization dedicated to empowering small businesses with innovative payment solutions and financial tools. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer, alongside strong expertise in cloud technologies, Terraform, and Kubernetes.Main Responsibilities:As a member of the Data Streaming team, you will: • Build and scale the streaming infrastructure using technologies like Kafka, Spark, Flink, and Snowflake. • Ensure reliability and security of the infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes (k8s) and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC). • Contribute to the architecture and establish best practices for the Data Platform. • Collaborate with data producers and consumers across the organization to create efficient data pipelines. Key Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer. • Solid experience in at least one programming language (Java, Go, or Python). • Strong expertise with Terraform. • Strong experience with Kubernetes. • Significant cloud experience, preferably with AWS. • Proven experience maintaining critical data infrastructure for a large user base. • Direct experience with Kafka and/or data processing engines such as Flink or Spark. • Knowledge of observability stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, or Honeycomb. Nice to Have: • Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) experience. • Experience with distributed databases or data warehouses. • Familiarity with ETL/data services such as Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, or DataBricks. • Knowledge of data cataloging tools.
