As a Business Analyst, you will be embedded in a cross-functional squad, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. You will work closely with the overall Project Manager, your squad’s Tech Lead, and QA Engineer to ensure features are well-defined, feasible, and delivered to specification. Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for your assigned product area • Act as the Product Owner within your squad, own the backlog, prioritize features, and make acceptance decisions • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows • Collaborate with the Tech Lead and developers to ensure requirements are technically feasible and well-understood • Work with the QA Engineer to define acceptance criteria and validate delivered features against business expectations • Coordinate with other Business Analysts and the Project Manager to ensure consistency across product areas • Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions • Maintain up-to-date documentation of business rules, processes, and product specifications • Communicate requirements, decisions, and status in English to all stakeholders Expected competences and knowledge • Solid commercial experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects • Experience in the financial services or banking domain • Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation • Experience working within cross-functional agile teams (developers, QA, tech leads) • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to communicate freely in English (spoken and written) Nice to have • Experience acting as Product Owner (backlog ownership, prioritization, acceptance decisions) • Experience with Manual Testing • Prior experience with greenfield fintech or digital banking platform builds • Familiarity with event-driven architectures or modern backend/frontend technology stacks • Experience in the Middle Eastern financial services market • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services Technologies you'll work with • Jira • Confluence • BPMN • UML • SQL Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
