We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale international POS rollout program.
The future colleague will analyze country-specific business processes and requirements and translate them into structured, actionable functional requirements. The Business Analyst will act as an interface between country stakeholders, discovery teams, product teams, and engineering squads.
A solid understanding of retail, checkout, and POS environments is required. The ideal candidate is able to quickly understand country-specific processes, identify deviations from the standard solution, and provide the necessary business context for solution design and rollout decisions.
Responsibilities
• Conduct country discovery activities to understand local checkout processes, business requirements, fiscal requirements, payment methods, and operational constraints.
• Prepare and facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews with country organizations and relevant business functions.
• Analyze and document existing business processes, operational workflows, functional requirements, and country-specific constraints.
• Promote the adoption of the standard project solution and challenge local deviations where existing capabilities can be used.
• Identify and document functional gaps between country-specific requirements and the standard POS solution.
• Cluster and categorize identified gaps, for example by legal, fiscal, operational, payment-related, or business-critical criteria.
• Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements, process descriptions, user stories, use cases, and functional flows.
• Act as the bridge between country stakeholders, discovery squads, product teams, and engineering squads.
• Explain the business context, relevant processes, operational challenges, and expected business value to technical teams.
• Support prioritization discussions by providing context regarding country requirements, regulatory constraints, business impact, and rollout dependencies.
• Use available data, KPIs, and operational insights to support analysis, prioritization, and rollout decisions.
• Support root cause analysis for country-specific issues and rollout problems.
• Contribute to the identification of sustainable solutions for functional and operational challenges.
• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of requirements, processes, decisions, dependencies, and functional flows.
• Support testing and validation activities by ensuring that implemented solutions meet the documented business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in an Agile delivery environment.
Qualifications
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable requirements engineering or process analysis role.
• Strong experience in business analysis for complex software systems or digital transformation programs.
• Proven ability to analyze and structure business processes, operational workflows, constraints, and functional requirements.
• Experience in preparing and conducting discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Experience creating structured requirements documentation, user stories, use cases, process flows, or functional specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for product and engineering teams.
• Ability to use data, KPIs, and operational insights to support prioritization and rollout decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with product owners, engineering teams, and solution teams in an Agile environment.

• Basic understanding of fiscal or regulatory requirements affecting POS solutions.
• Very good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
