Business Analyst – Product Migration The Business Analyst for Product Migration is responsible for defining both the “how” and the “how much” of product transitions across platforms. In this role, you will identify the most efficient and cost-effective migration strategies, balancing the decision between migrating existing products and decommissioning legacy platforms. Key Responsibilities • Architectural Needs: Define detailed functional requirements for products in the target environment, ensuring full parity or measurable improvement. • Cost Management: Evaluate ongoing platform costs and perform ROI analysis to support decisions on migration versus decommissioning. • Migration Mechanics: Design and structure migration approaches, ensuring business-critical products remain fully operational throughout the transition. • Strategic Decommissioning: Assess product relevance and develop clear migration and retirement paths for end-of-life systems. Requirements • Technical BA Experience: 7+ years of experience, with a strong track record in product-to-platform migrations and legacy system decommissioning. • Financial Modeling: Proven ability to perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and ROI analysis for migration strategies. • API & Integration Knowledge: Solid understanding of APIs and microservices architecture to support migration design and execution. • Decommissioning Strategy: Experience building End-of-Life (EOL) roadmaps, including data archiving and compliance-compliant deletion. • Documentation: Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, including specifications, integration guides, and migration playbooks for engineering teams. English (B2+ level) is required Location: Poland / EU (Remote)
