Customer Discovery & Managed Team Development - Security Operations
The Senior SME – Customer Discovery, Managed Team Development & Security Operations acts as a field-facing representative of the Managed Delivery Practice.
The role works closely with Business Units and customers to identify new Managed Team and Managed Service opportunities with a focus on Security Operations and related service domains.
By combining customer discovery, advisory capabilities and service development experience, the individual supports the growth of repeatable Security Operations offerings while helping Business Units convert customer demand into scalable managed delivery opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Discovery & Opportunity Development
• Support customer workshops and discovery engagements
• Analyse customer operating models, sourcing strategies and delivery challenges
• Identify opportunities for Managed Teams and Managed Services
• Support development of business cases and target operating concepts
Security Operations Advisory
• Provide subject matter expertise across Security Operations environments
• Support customers in evaluating operational security capabilities
• Contribute to service development initiatives in Security Operations areas
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, optimisation and service-based delivery models
Managed Team Development
• Define team structures and delivery responsibilities
• Support staffing concepts and capability planning
• Collaborate with recruitment and delivery functions
• Contribute to scalable and repeatable delivery models
Practice Representation
• Participate in customer meetings and workshops together with Business Units
• Support strategic pursuits and proposal activities
• Develop reusable Practice assets and playbooks
• Share lessons learned across the organisation
Experience & Qualifications
• 5–10 years of experience in Consulting, Solution Design, Service Delivery or Security Operations
• Experience working with enterprise customers
• Strong knowledge of Security Operations environments
• Workshop facilitation and presentation skills
• Commercial awareness and customer-oriented mindset
• Qualified Security Operations opportunities
• Managed Team opportunities converted into pursuits
• Customer stakeholder engagement
• Contribution to Practice growth and service portfolio development
• Fluent German & English
