We are seeking a talented Infotainment Requirements Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements for next‑generation in‑vehicle infotainment systems. You will work closely with product owners, UX/UI teams, software engineers, and external partners to ensure that all features are clearly documented, traceable, and aligned with the overall product vision. This position is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high‑quality automotive software. This project focuses on delivering next‑generation in‑vehicle digital experiences through a combination of Android/AOSP‑based In‑Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) applications and QNX/Linux‑based Instrument Cluster software. As part of the requirements engineering team, you will play a key role in defining, documenting, and maintaining clear, consistent, and traceable requirements across a wide range of vehicle functions. Responsibilities • Collect, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for Infotainment features (HMI, media, connectivity, system services, etc.). • Transform high‑level product inputs into structured, clear, and testable software requirements. • Maintain end‑to‑end traceability (stakeholder → system → software → test). • Collaborate with UX, architects, and development teams to clarify behavior, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. • Ensure requirements meet ASPICE SWE.1/SWE.2 expectations and support downstream SWE.3–SWE.6 activities. • Participate in feature grooming, technical discussions, and change management • Support integration and validation teams by clarifying expected behavior and resolving requirement gaps. • Manage updates, change requests, and versioning in Codebeamer. • Ensure alignment with design principles, system architecture, and platform constraints (Android-based or other IVI stack). • Identify requirement risks, dependencies, and potential impacts across feature domains. Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in requirements engineering, infotainment/automotive software. • Strong understanding of IVI domains: HMI, media, connectivity, navigation, vehicle settings, or system services. • Experience with requirements management tools (Codebeamer, Jama, Polarion, etc.). • Familiarity with ASPICE processes, especially SWE.1 and SWE.2. • Ability to write clear, concise, and testable requirements. • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams. • At least upper-intermediate (B2) level of English. • Understanding of software development lifecycle, particularly for embedded or infotainment systems.
