Business Unit Lead (h/f)

Introduction & Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional to support a significant HR and Payroll transformation initiative in Morocco (Freelancer). This role emphasizes strong business acumen over technical skills, focusing on standardizing Payroll processes onto a single cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between local business teams and the implementation partner, ensuring that the unique requirements of the country are efficiently captured and communicated.

Main Responsibilities
The primary duties include:
• Coordinate requirement gathering with local stakeholders.
• Collect business processes and country-specific requirements.
• Act as the interface between local business users and the implementation partner.
• Support SAP integrations and Treasury payment files.
• Understand APF, SAF-T and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate UAT preparation.
• Validate business processes.
• Ensure successful adoption of the new solution.
Key Requirements
• Strong Business Analysis background.
• Experience working on HRIS, Payroll or ERP programmes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience coordinating business stakeholders.
• French and English language proficiency.
Nice to Have
• Payroll implementation experience.
• SAP HR / SuccessFactors exposure.
• Treasury or Finance integration knowledge.
Other Details
This role is primarily hybrid, on a freelancer contract and based in Tangier, Morocco. The candidate will represent local business needs and facilitate a smooth transition during the implementation of the new Payroll system.
