Consultant – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

Information about the project: • Industry: IT • Location: remote • Long-term cooperation • Rate: we’re open for your suggestions Summary: We’re looking for an experienced Consultant to join our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) team. In this key role, you will help create transparency, ensure easy access to financial data, and enable off‑the‑shelf reporting for the business. As part of our Financial Planning & Analysis function. Responsibilities: • Maintain and further develop the EClient Budget and Forecast model • Support the M&A onboarding of newly acquired companies into the Client Data Model • Collaborate with the finance team to develop new TM1 models • Oversee the TM1 system to ensure smooth operation, system performance, and timely issue resolution • Manage end‑to‑end development of assigned projects, including documentation Must have: • Proven experience across the full project lifecycle: Requirements, Build, Test, Deploy, and Documentation • Hands‑on IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) development experience • Experience with TM1 system maintenance and configuration • Strong database skills (SQL Server) Non-technical skills: • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles • Ability to work independently without supervision • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to interface effectively with business users • Strong communication skills, able to adapt to both technical and business audiences • Ability to gather, understand, and translate internal business requirements • Experience designing, implementing, and documenting IBM Planning Analytics solutions • Ability to support finance colleagues through demonstrations and training • Experience diagnosing and resolving issues in existing Planning/TM1 installations • Strong relationship‑building skills across business units and end‑user groups • Finance or Accountancy background is considered an advantage • Fluency in spoken and written English • Structured, persistent, and result‑driven working approach Nice to have: • Experience with AI forecasting tools or techniques
