D365 Technical Manager - Solution Architect (Paris)

The office is located in Paris, France.

Ideal candidate would be the one to relocate to Paris. Some hybrid mode could be established.

The Technical Manager / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and
overseeing the architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. The role ensures technical consistency across the
solution landscape, seamless integration with third-party systems (including SFO and Manhattan), governance of ISV
extensions, and optimization of Microsoft licensing and associated costs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Solution Architecture & Design
• Define the overall architecture of Microsoft Dynamics D365 solutions
• Design robust, scalable, and secure solution architectures.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation.
• Ensure consistency across functional and technical domains.
2. Application integration & Interfaces (SFO/Manhattan)
• Design and oversee system integrations and interfaces.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and traceability of inter-system data exchanges.
• Oversee APIs and middleware components.
• Ensure functional and technical consistency across integrated solutions.
3. ISV solution Governance
• Lead the integration of ISV solutions within the D365 landscape
• Manage risks related to ISV dependencies, including support, upgrades, and performance.
• Coordinate relationships with ISV vendors and partners.
4. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Licensing Management
• Define and optimize the Dynamics 365 licensing strategy.
• Ensure compliance between system usage and purchased licenses.
• Identify licensing optimization opportunities.
• Monitor changes to Microsoft's licensing model and assess their impact.
5. Technical Leadership & Delivery
• Lead development teams and technical consultants.
• Define development and architecture standards.
• Oversee technical decisions and conduct code reviews.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and security of delivered solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with commitments.
• Advise business stakeholders on architecture and technical solution choices.
8. Governance, standards & innovation
• Define and promote best practices in architecture, DevOps, and security.
• Establish and maintain technical documentation standards.
• Monitor technology trends related to Microsoft, Power Platform, Copilot, and ISV solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, security policies, and internal standards.

Technical skills

• Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management)
• Proven experience designing complex application architectures
