Data Analyst

• Industry: banking • Rate: up to 140 pln/h net + VAT, B2B • Location: Gdynia - hybrid Overview A Data Analyst is needed to perform IT analysis, investigative data analysis, system design, and data modeling to support development teams effectively. The individual will take on a facilitating role to drive functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment between IT and business teams while possessing a strong passion for data analysis. Main Responsibilities • Perform IT analysis and investigative data analysis. • Drive functional and non-functional requirements across multiple stakeholders. • Ensure alignment and transparency of requirements between IT and business teams. • Build a contextual understanding of business processes and technical solutions. • Understand data models and their consumption by development teams. Key Requirements • Excellent interpersonal communications and command of the English language. • Passion for data analysis, problem-solving, and requirements elicitation. • Strong business and technical background. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-cultural, virtual teams. • Proactive, structured, detail-oriented, and quality driven. • Experience with relational databases design and querying, including optimization. • Familiarity with Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Hive, etc.). • Utilization of Jira and Bitbucket for project tracking and version control. • Experience in requirement analysis within data-related areas. Nice to Have • Finance background and/or banking experience preferred. • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, or Java). • Experience with JSON/AVRO data formats and standardized data models.
