Data Analytics Engineer

For our Client we are currently looking for a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team and help organize and structure data from Git platforms (e.g., GitLab/GitHub) into scalable backend solutions. These solutions will power APIs used across web applications, project explorers, and analytical reports, including annual insights on innersource and open-source trends. What You’ll Do: • Design and structure data models for open-source and innersource projects • Build backend systems and APIs for data access and analytics • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across teams • Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Ensure data security and apply cybersecurity best practices • Contribute to reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights What We’re Looking For: • Degree in Computer/Data Science or related field • Strong Java skills + API development experience (OpenAPI a plus) • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms • Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code • Understanding of cybersecurity; Cloudflare WAF is a plus • Passion for open source and strong communication skills Be part of a team driving innovation through open collaboration and data.
