Data Analytics Engineer

O projekcie: We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to support the development of a data-driven backend platform within a large-scale innersource and open-source ecosystem. The role focuses on transforming and structuring software engineering data into scalable, API-driven solutions used across analytics, reporting, and internal tooling. The successful candidate will help design and build a robust data backend that aggregates and organizes information from Git-based platforms into a structured and queryable system. This will enable a variety of downstream applications, including dashboards, internal tools, and reporting solutions. Wymagania: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - 4+ years of relevant experience in data/engineering roles - Strong backend development experience (Java required; additional languages a plus) - Experience with API design and management (including OpenAPI) - Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy principles - Ability to translate algorithms into production-ready code - Strong communication and presentation skills Codzienne zadania: - Design and implement data models and structures for large-scale engineering datasets - Develop and maintain backend services for data processing and consumption - Build and manage APIs for internal and external data access - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and compliance teams - Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices - Work with cloud-based systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance - Apply cybersecurity and data protection best practices - Contribute to algorithm implementation and data transformation logic - Support data-driven reporting and analytics initiatives - Communicate technical concepts clearly to different stakeholders
