Data Architect (US time zone - GMT -4)

Client Our client is an international association of financial industry professionals, bringing together over 200,000 investment experts worldwide. The organization operates more than one hundred applications and is embarking on a major initiative to modernize and upgrade its systems. Position overview Our client is seeking a Data Architect to define and design the target-state data architecture supporting analytics, AI enablement, data product development, and lifecycle management. This role ensures that data systems are scalable, well-governed, secure, and aligned with enterprise technology standards. Responsibilities • Define enterprise data architecture for ingestion, modeling, integration, metadata, lineage, and data products • Partner with product and IT teams to design data pipelines, canonical data models, and reusable data products • Guide design choices in support of modernization programs, including data retention and lifecycle standards • Develop architectural patterns for data quality controls, monitoring, and lifecycle management • Support ingestion and modeling of critical enterprise datasets across customer, product, operations, finance, and marketing domains • Ensure architecture supports AI infrastructure, security requirements, and compliance obligations Requirements • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture roles • Expertise in cloud data platforms, modern data stacks, and event- or API-driven integrations • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior technical and business stakeholders Apply for the job
