Data Backbone IT Architect

At DAC.digital, we are constantly growing our business. As part of our growth strategy, we are starting a strategic partnership with one of the biggest consulting companies in Germany with a strong focus on Data Management. Their clients include major banking, insurance, retail, telecommunications, and automotive brands. Key information:  Salary:  • 28 000 - 32 000 PLN net/month- pure B2B contract • 24 500 – 28 000 PLN net/month – B2B contract (days off included) It is vital that you have: • extensive experience with cloud integration stacks (preferably Azure, alternatively AWS/GCP); • strong knowledge of asynchronous communication, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event Hubs), and API design (REST, gRPC); • confident use of architecture frameworks and the ability to convey complex topics through simple logical models; • strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to act as an “enablement coach” for teams; • knowledge of English (min. B2); • working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); • willing to travel if necessary (conferences, coworking events, etc.) Technology stack: • Azure/AWS/GCP • Kafka, RabbitMW, EventHubs • REST, gRPC Nice to have: • Solutions Architect certifications You will be responsible for supporting our team in: • design and implementation of a scalable, highly available data backbone; • architecture design and continuous refinement of the data backbone concept (focus on decoupling, event streaming, and API management); • introduction and maintenance of architecture principles aligned with best practices and governance; • technology evaluation: Leading execution of a Proof of Concept (PoC) – primarily on Azure (Event Hubs, APIM), while objectively assessing alternatives such as AWS or GCP; • implementation of monitoring and alerting solutions to oversee platform performance; • implementation of security policies (e.g., access controls) • advising development teams on integrating source and target systems.
