Data Build Tool /Airflow Developer

In Cyclad we work with top international IT companies in order to boost their potential in delivering outstanding, cutting-edge technologies that shape the world of the future. We are looking for a highly skilled DBT + Airflow Developer to join a global team within a large international bank. This role focuses on a major data transformation initiative: migrating existing Informatica PowerCenter processes to a new on-prem Airflow + dbt ecosystem. If you are an experienced Data Engineer who thrives in complex environments, takes ownership, and proactively proposes solutions this role is for you.   Project information: • Type of project: Banking • Office location: Wrocław • Work mode: 100% Remote • Budget: 160 - 170 net/ hour - b2b • Project length: long-term • Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland • Start date: ASAP (depending on candidate's availability)   Project scope: • Lead the migration of ETL processes from Informatica PowerCenter to Airflow + dbt on-premise • Design, build, and optimize dbt models and data transformations • Develop and maintain Airflow DAGs and orchestration pipelines • Build robust, scalable ETL frameworks • Work with OCI, Terraform, Docker and implement Infrastructure-as-Code automation • Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of data workflows • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders and contribute proactively with technical solutions Requirements: • Bring at least 5+ years of hands-on experience with dbt and strong Airflow expertise • Have senior-level proficiency with SQL and large-scale data processing • Are experienced with Terraform, Docker, IaC and modern infrastructure pipelines • Know Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in a practical, production-ready context • Understand how to build end-to-end ETL/ELT frameworks • Communicate clearly and propose improvements proactively • (Nice to have) Have worked with Informatica PowerCenter • Have fluent English We offer: • Work 100% remotely from Poland • Long-term cooperation based on b2b contract with an established global banking client • Private medical care • Multisport card • Life insurance • Opportunity to join a strategic modernization project in an international environment
