Data Engineer

DATA ENGINEER
Currently for one of our best Clients, a successful Scandinavian company with HQ in Warsaw, we are seeking the best Candidate to take on a position of a Data Engineer to support the Data Analytics team in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. This role will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing database solutions, as well as integrating data from various sources and supporting other teams in delivering valuable business conclusions.

OPIS STANOWISKA/JOB DESCRIPTION:
·       Design and implementation of scalable and efficient data processing solutions
·       Creating and managing ETL/ELT flows
·       Optimization of databases and data storage systems
·       Collaborate with other teams to deliver solutions tailored to business needs
·       Monitor performance and troubleshoot data processing issues
·       Ensuring data security and integrity
·       E2E reports development

WYMAGANIA/REQUIREMENTS:
·       Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar

·       Strong practical knowledge of SQL
·       Experience working with relational databases - MS SQL Server, DB2, MySQL
·       Basic programming knowledge of Python
·       Solid foundations of Windows and Linux operating systems
·       Knowledge of any visualization tool (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS)
·       Higher education, preferred specialization related to IT
·       Knowledge of English at a level enabling free communication – min. B2
·       Ability to solve problems, exceptional analytical skills and attention to details
·       Understanding of business needs and translating them into most optimal solution design and successful implementation
·       Flexibility, engagement, open-minded personality, proactive attitude
·       Team-player and eagerness to seek for innovative solutions
