Data Engineer

Nasze wymagania: 2+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark in production environments Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, event-driven architectures) Solid programming skills in Python / PySpark and SQL Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) Familiarity with AI-supported development tools (e.g., Copilot, Codex, Claude) Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases Good communication skills and ability to work directly with stakeholders Very good English - B2+ Mile widziane: Knowledge of Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, and data governance concepts at scale Experience designing data serving layers (APIs, SQL endpoints, reverse ETL) Background in IoT, time-series data, or manufacturing environments O projekcie: You’ll be part of an international Data Science & Engineering team building a next-generation platform for IoT data. The goal is to move towards real-time processing and an event-driven architecture using modern data technologies. 🗝️Full-time 🗝️Remote work (from Poland) + occasional visits in Poznań/Warsaw office 🗝️B2B/employment contract 🗝️Key technologies: Kafka (streaming backbone), Databricks (including Delta Live Tables / Workflows), Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg with modern catalog solutions, cloud-native data platform components (CI/CD, IaC, observability) Zakres obowiązków: Build and maintain end-to-end streaming data pipelines (Kafka → Databricks) Develop scalable, high-quality data products in a cloud environment Contribute to architectural decisions (data modeling, governance, access, lineage) Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders across regions Apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted development Oferujemy: Participation in company conferences, trainings, workshops, integration meetings, etc. Certification and training opportunities Opportunity to relocate and work in different ALTEN Polska branches After completion of the project, opportunity to engage in a subsequent one within the company.
