Data Engineer

We are seeking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a hybrid, development team in Warsaw. The role requires strong technical expertise in data processing and cloud-based solutions, as well as direct collaboration with client stakeholders. Project information: • Type of project: IT services • Office location: Warszawa, Poland • Work mode: Hybrid, 2 days in the office • Budget: 100–120 PLN net/h – b2b • Project length: Long-term • Only candidates with citizenship in the European Union and residence in Poland • Start date: ASAP (depending on candidate’s availability) Project scope: • Build and maintain data solutions tailored to clients’ analytical and business needs • Work on data systems using high-level programming languages including SQL and Python • Apply modern, cloud-based data technologies and engineering methodologies following best practices and international standards • Join an international, cross-functional team, enhancing both technical expertise and communication skills • Work with technologies such as Snowflake, Python, Tableau, or GitLab CI/CD • Collaborate directly with the client to deliver assigned tasks • Contribute to project documentation and knowledge transfer Competence demands: • Minimum 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining data processing solutions • Strong foundation in SQL • Familiarity with Snowflake or other database systems • Understanding of ETL tools and version control systems (GitLab CI/CD) • Basic Python skills for data processing tasks • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus • Demonstrates analytical thinking, adaptability, and effective collaboration within teams • Fluent in English and Polish (minimum B2) We offer: • Opportunity to work on modern cloud-based data engineering projects • Professional development in data engineering and analytics • Hybrid working model • Full-time job agreement based on b2b • Private medical care with dental care (covering 70% of costs) • Multisport card (also for an accompanying person) • Life insurance
