Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer with solid experience in Matillion and cloud‑based data platforms. The role involves designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, building scalable data models, and ensuring high‑quality, reliable data delivery across the analytics ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Matillion. • Develop scalable transformations and integrate multiple data sources. • Optimize ingestion, performance, and cost within cloud environments. • Ensure strong data quality, lineage, and governance. • Create SQL-based models across Bronze, Silver, Gold layers. • Support CI/CD workflows and deployments across environments. • Troubleshoot Matillion jobs and contribute to architectural decisions. Required Skills • Hands‑on experience with Matillion. • Strong SQL expertise. • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred). • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. • Strong ETL/ELT and data integration skills. • Knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Git). Nice to Have • Airflow, dbt, Prefect, or similar. • Python for automation. • Data modeling experience. Soft Skills • Strong communication and documentation. • Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams. • Proactive and ownership‑driven mindset.
