Data Engineer

• Industry: banking • Rate: 150-170 pln/h net + VAT, B2B • Location: Gdynia (2 days per week in the office) Overview The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in enabling data sharing across various applications. This position will primarily involve building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to facilitate seamless data integration and management. Main Responsibilities • Design and implement ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data processing. • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and ensure data alignment across systems. • Maintain and optimize existing data storage solutions. • Work with APIs to ensure connectivity between applications. • Apply data modeling principles to enhance database structures. • Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming solutions. Key Requirements • Proficient in SQL Server. • Experienced in SQL, PL/SQL, TSQL or similar database programming. • Knowledge of data modeling concepts. • Familiarity with Kafka. • Experience working with APIs. Nice to Have • Experience with DB2. • Familiarity with Snowflake and S3 storage. • Experience in building ETL pipelines. • Understanding of Data and Data Landscape.
