We've been building digital products for over 10 years, with a strong focus on Blockchain-based applications. At 4soft, people come first - it's our team of passionate technologists that enables us to work with international clients and deliver innovative solutions. We believe in transparency, effective teamwork, and achieving real business outcomes for those we serve.
Want to work on data infrastructure that powers cutting-edge crypto intelligence products? Growth and a great team culture matter to you? 4soft is the perfect place to find both.
Join our client's Data Platform team, a global leader in blockchain analytics, and help shape the foundational data systems behind their next generation of intelligence products. If you're genuinely excited about large-scale data engineering and love building reliable pipelines others can depend on your curiosity and drive to go deep matter more than a perfect resume.
Tech environment: Scala, Spark, Databricks, AWS, Airflow, Kubernetes, Terraform, Functional Programming
As a Data Engineer , you will be responsible for:
• Building and maintaining distributed data pipelines using Scala, Spark, and cloud technologies, enabling organisations worldwide to make trusted, data-driven decisions
• Designing and optimising data ingestion and transformation workflows that process hundreds of millions of daily data points across blockchain and traditional datasets
• Ensuring accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of data systems - evaluating design trade-offs across performance, reliability, and cost
• Strengthening pipeline reliability, observability, and automation through continuous code and tooling improvements
• Contributing to the full lifecycle of data platform development - from initial design and deployment through to ongoing improvement
• Collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions
• Keeping up with the fast-moving data and AI landscape: new frameworks, streaming patterns, and automation techniques - bringing relevant insights to the team
What we expect from you:
• Practical experience delivering and maintaining distributed data pipelines - whether in production, side projects, or an academic context
• Practical knowledge of Spark, Databricks, or similar big data frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure - AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: you write clean, testable, and efficient code, think about maintainability, and understand what it means to build something that will be operated in production
• Understanding of data-architecture trade-offs, including scalability, resilience, and observability
• Interest or experience in functional programming
• A learning mindset, visible in how you talk about your work: what you've picked up recently, what you're still figuring out, and what drew you to data engineering in the first place
• English proficiency at C1 level or above (for international client collaboration)
• Polish language skills at B2 level or above (for smooth communication with the team)
Great if you also bring:
• Experience in streaming processing concepts like delivery semantics, ordering or partitioning
• Hands‑on work with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• An interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, or a desire to learn
• Experience applying AI or automation within deployed services
What helps us stay balanced:
• Grow your skills and hobbies with us - make use of a dedicated training and wellbeing budget
• Work from home or the office - your choice, up to 100% remote
• Access to specialists whenever you need them via our LuxMed healthcare package
• If the gym is your second home, activate a Multisport card with us
• Looking for a long-term home? You're in the right place - stable collaboration, no dress code, no heavy atmosphere
• Our team knows how to have fun: board games, city outings, go-kart races, laser tag, great food on team retreats - we take integration seriously (in the best way :)
