Opis stanowiska
Cyrantos is partnering with a leading asset management firm to find a highly experienced Data Engineer to join their team. This is a remote position with a start date as soon as the candidate successfully completes the interview process.
Monthly B2B salary: 21,000 - 25,000 PLN net.
About the Role:
As a Data Engineer, you will join our client’s data and engineering team to design, maintain, and evolve the core data platform that supports key investment and analytical workflows. You will work in a collaborative, non-corporate environment where experienced specialists share knowledge and support your professional growth. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining web scrapers that feed data from GCP into BigQuery, improving and extending dbt pipelines to strengthen data quality, and enhancing internal algorithms and valuation models. You will also maintain and develop the FastAPI backend that integrates with the broader platform. A strong understanding of the overall system architecture and the ability to coordinate work across teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain robust web scrapers that extract and process data from GCP into BigQuery
• Develop, improve, and optimize dbt models, tests, and pipelines to ensure high data quality, lineage clarity, and reliable transformations
• Enhance and refine internal algorithms and valuation models supporting analytical and investment workflows
• Maintain, extend, and troubleshoot the FastAPI backend that powers the data platform
• Understand the end-to-end data architecture and coordinate work across interconnected systems and teams
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, well-structured, and production-ready data solutions
Candidate Profile:
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines and production-grade data workflows
• Solid knowledge of dbt, including developing models, tests, and documentation
• Experience working with cloud environments, preferably GCP, and data warehouses such as BigQuery
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Hands-on experience creating and operating web scrapers and integrating diverse external data sources
• Practical understanding of backend development, ideally with FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Ability to analyze data quality issues, debug pipeline failures, and improve overall system reliability
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow or similar) is beneficial
• Experience in algorithm development or valuation models within data-driven environments is a plus
• Strong architectural awareness and the ability to coordinate work across interconnected systems and teams
Interview Process:
• Phone screening
• Technical interview
• Culture fit interview
If you are a passionate Data Engineer eager to contribute to an asset management platform and grow within a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
