Data Governance Specialist

- Assess existing data governance frameworks, documentation, and control environments and identify gaps against regulatory and enterprise governance expectations. - Design Data Governance Target Operating Models, including governance structures, roles, and decision processes. - Develop and structure governance artefacts, such as policies, standards, governance registers, and control documentation. - Define practical governance processes for data quality, metadata management, access control, and lifecycle management. - Work with data architects and engineering teams to align governance practices with enterprise data platforms. - Collaborate with compliance, risk, and data protection teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical governance controls. - Support the rollout and operational adoption of governance frameworks across business domains.
