Data Protection Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Consultant to guide clients in designing, implementing, and optimizing data protection strategies using Cohesity and Veritas NetBackup. This role focuses on ensuring business-critical data is secure, compliant, and highly available across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. What You’ll Do: • Advise on backup architecture, data lifecycle management, and disaster recovery strategies • Implement and manage Cohesity & Veritas backup solutions, policies, and retention rules • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backup operations across hybrid IT environments • Support data recovery, ransomware protection, and compliance initiatives Requirements: • 6+ years hands-on experience with Cohesity DataProtect and Veritas NetBackup • Strong knowledge of virtual (VMware, Hyper-V), physical, and cloud (AWS, Azure) environments • Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs) • Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, object storage) Nice to Have: • Cohesity Certified Engineer or Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) • Experience with backup integrations to SIEM, ITSM, or orchestration tools • Understanding of ransomware protection and cyber vault strategies Join us to deliver real impact, shape data protection strategies, and ensure resilience for enterprise clients.
