Data QA / ETL Testing Engineer

O projekcie: Offer - Opportunity to join an international project for a well-known banking client - Long-term collaboration in a data-focused QA role - Work in an Agile environment with close cooperation across technical teams - Hybrid work model: 3 days per week from the office in Gdańsk or Warsaw - B2B / subcontractor cooperation - 6-month contract with possible extension - Opportunity to work on complex ETL processes, data validation, and migration testing in a large-scale environment Wymagania: - Commercial experience in Data QA / ETL testing - Hands-on experience with automated testing for ETL or data projects - Strong knowledge of SQL, PLSQL, and relational databases - Good understanding of ETL, Operational Data Store, and data warehousing concepts - Experience in validating data mappings, transformations, and business rules - Practical experience in manual data testing and strong attention to data quality - Familiarity with Git-based tools, such as Bitbucket - Experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments - Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders - Fluent English, both spoken and written - Experience with IBM DataStage, Informatica, or similar ETL tools will be an advantage Codzienne zadania: - Work as part of a Scrum team in a data-focused banking project - Develop and maintain automated tests for ETL processes and data migrations into the Operational Data Store - Validate data mappings, transformations, and business rules using SQL - Perform manual data testing and exploratory checks when needed - Review mapping documents, data models, and integration requirements - Collaborate closely with ETL Engineers, developers, and business stakeholders - Support regression testing and release activities - Prepare and maintain test documentation, test evidence, and defect reports
