Opis stanowiska
Nasze wymagania: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data science or quantitative analysis Strong foundation in statistics — this is the core of the role: hypothesis testing, regression, time series analysis, distributions, uncertainty quantification Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, statsmodels, matplotlib/seaborn or equivalent) Experience building automated data pipelines and maintaining reproducible analytical workflows Degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field Ability to independently plan, run, and evaluate analyses Preference for interpretable, well-justified methods over unnecessary model complexity Ability to critically assess whether a method, result, or AI-generated idea makes sense High attention to detail, ownership, and a methodical, rigorous approach to data — you double-check your work before sharing it Ability to communicate analytical results clearly to non-technical team members Fluency in Polish and English Mile widziane: Experience with biomedical or time-series data (eye tracking, EEG, ECG, or similar) Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch) — ML is not excluded from the role, but classical statistics comes first Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, or analytical pipelines Knowledge of signal processing methods Experience working in a regulated or clinical research environment Zakres obowiązków: Process, clean, and validate eye movement time-series data from clinical trials and research sessions Perform rigorous statistical analysis to identify biomarkers and distinguish signal from noise in oculomotor data Build and evaluate predictive models for disease classification and progression tracking Assess data quality, detect artifacts, and verify whether results are methodologically sound Design and implement automated data pipelines to support ongoing clinical and R&D workflows Create clear, reproducible data visualizations for both scientific and business audiences Collaborate closely with optical engineers, neurologists, and vision scientists to define analytical approaches Contribute to scientific documentation and research publications Oferujemy: Salary: [13 ,000 – 17,000 PLN gross gross / net B2B], depending on experience and contract type Employment contract (UoP) or B2B — your choice Direct access to a rich research environment: published datasets, ongoing clinical trials, and collaboration with scientists who have been building this technology for over a decade Real ownership over how data flows through the product — you won't be maintaining someone else's legacy pipeline Meaningful work: your models will feed into diagnostic tools used with real patients Small, senior team — short feedback loops, no bureaucracy On-site in Toruń at Nicolaus Copernicus University
