Data Solution Architect

Solution Architect – Finance Analytics Location: Hybrid (Katowice, Poland) About the Role The Solution Architect is the subject matter expert behind architectural decisions for the team and a key driver of the technical vision. This role partners closely with technical and business stakeholders to achieve organizational goals by delivering agile, scalable, and future-ready solutions. The Solution Architect values simplicity, challenges technical constraints, and collaborates with the team to design modular architectures that can easily adapt to future changes. In partnership with Technical Leaders, this role drives engineering best practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment, while also mentoring team members and removing technical roadblocks. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain data-driven products for Finance Analytics • Build robust, scalable, and reliable solutions including dashboards, tools, and data applications • Enable data-driven decision-making for internal stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create modular and future-proof architectures • Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, test-driven development, and automated deployments • Lead, coach, and mentor team members while removing technical and operational impediments • Manage delivery within agile teams and maintain technical priorities in the backlog Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred) • Legal authorization to work in the EU (no visa sponsorship available) • 8+ years of leadership experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data engineering tools (Databricks, ADF, SQL, Power Platform, Power BI) • Strong expertise in Azure data engineering and cloud technologies • Experience as a developer or technical lead with solid knowledge of DevOps, security, testing, and release practices • Ability to design and implement both front-end and back-end architectures • Experience with Azure Cloud and DevOps environments • Strong background in Agile methodologies and product-based development • Experience managing backlogs and agile delivery • Background in finance data, analytics, and insights products • Experience in product/project management or business analysis • Strong knowledge of data analytics methodologies and tools • Expertise in data modeling, including star schema • Experience working with SAP as a data source • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for Databricks and Power BI deployments • Knowledge of Azure infrastructure (networking, IAM, RBAC, ADLS) • Administration experience with Databricks, Power BI, and Power Platform • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, DAX, Tabular Editor, SQL, and Python • Familiarity with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and Microsoft tools What We Offer • Private medical care • Sports cards / fitness program • Group life insurance • Access to professional training and learning platforms • Hybrid work model • Opportunity to work on complex, data-driven products with real business impact • Collaborative, agile environment with strong technical ownership
