Salary: 1500 - 2400 PLN/MD + VAT (B2B) Remote: elastic hybrid from Warsaw (1x per week)    Why choose this offer? • Opportunity to work on high-scale data platforms used daily by over 20 million users • Work with modern Big Data and streaming technologies • Direct impact on business-critical advertising and bidding systems • Long-term cooperation within a stable ecosystem   Project We are looking for an experienced Team Leader / Lead Data Engineer (with deep expertise in Real-Time Bidding ecosystems) to join a newly established team dedicated to one of Poland’s leading e-commerce companies. In this role, you will combine strong technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, building and scaling ultra-low latency data platforms in the Real-Time Bidding (RTB) domain. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture, engineering standards, and team culture from the ground up. You will design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines processing millions of queries per second, operating in a performance-first environment where milliseconds matter. In addition to hands-on engineering, you will mentor team members, lead technical initiatives, and ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, high-scale ecosystem.       Expected competences and knowledge • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with experience in the Real-Time Bidding (RTB) domain • 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical initiatives • Strong programming skills in Scala, Go, Python, and SQL • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink (or their cloud-managed equivalents) • Proven experience designing and operating ultra-low latency, high-throughput systems handling millions of QPS • Strong performance-first mindset and hands-on experience with latency budgeting and system optimization • Solid understanding of cloud platforms and distributed system operations (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Strong system design and troubleshooting skills in high-scale distributed environments   Technologies you'll work with • Python • SQL • Scala • Go • Apache Spark • Apache Kafka • Apache Flink • Cloud platforms: AWS / GCP / Azure   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
