Database Administrator (Db2)

About the role We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (Db2) to support enterprise database environments and contribute to large-scale cloud migration initiatives. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing IBM Db2 databases across hybrid infrastructure environments while supporting modernization and migration activities. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure high availability, stability, security, and performance of critical systems. Responsibilities • Support and maintain IBM Db2 databases in on-premises and cloud environments • Participate in database migration and modernization initiatives • Perform database administration tasks, upgrades, patching, and maintenance • Troubleshoot incidents, performance bottlenecks, and operational issues • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and risk requirements • Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams • Create and maintain operational documentation and runbooks • Support critical enterprise systems in regulated environments Must-have requirements • Hands-on experience as a Db2 DBA or Database Engineer • Strong knowledge of IBM Db2 on Linux/Unix platforms • Experience working in enterprise-scale Db2 environments • Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments • Understanding of high-availability and critical production systems • Experience working in regulated environments • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Nice-to-have • Experience with cloud migration or database modernization programs • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Automation and scripting skills • Understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals • Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure Tech Environment • IBM Db2 • Linux / Unix • Hybrid Cloud • Google Cloud Platform (preferred) • Enterprise Infrastructure • Migration & Modernization Projects What we offer • Opportunity to work on strategic cloud transformation projects • Long-term cooperation in an enterprise environment • Exposure to modern cloud and hybrid technologies • Collaboration with international and cross-functional teams • Flexible work model
