Database Engineer (Banking)

Since the foundation of Be Poland in 2013, we have been continually expanding and customising our spectrum of services.We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer with solid technical skills, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills in an international environment. Responsibilities: • Operational support for MS SQL Server instances and other components like Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services • Manage SQL Servers on premise and in Cloud (Azure IaaS/Managed Instance/PaaS) • Ensuring availability and consistent performance of corporate applications • Monitoring of backup, replication, performance • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes • Share knowledge and expertise with other team members • Provide on-call support in rotation with other team members Requirements: • 5+ years with MS SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, and cloud (both IaaS and PaaS ideally). • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory • Ansible knowledge • Experience supporting enterprise or banking systems Our offer: • Competitive remuneration on B2B contract • Access to Mindgram – mental health & well-being platform • Free gym at Q22 • Personal development – internal online / onsite DevTalks • Referral bonus program • International environment
