Database Engineer (Oracle, French)

Nasze wymagania: 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on Database Technology, e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server. Strong knowledge of Oracle (on IBM AIX) and familiarity with database systems such as: MSQL, DB, DB2 (On linux and AIX), MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Hands-on experience with database monitoring and performance tools. Understanding of data security, encryption, and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of database design principles and normalization. Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is preferred. Availability to work in a shift based system. Advanced proficiency of French and communicative level of English languages. Your role We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer with expertise in Oracle and proficiency in French to join our international team. This role will play a key part in managing database processes for our client in the French banking sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in optimizing database performance, ensuring high availability and maintaining database systems. Zakres obowiązków: Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Manage database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery processes. Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Optimize and tune database performance, including queries, indexes, and storage. Design and implement database schemas, tables, and procedures to support business applications. Install, configure, and maintain database systems (for example : SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL). Develop and maintain database documentation. Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patches with minimal downtime. Manage database access and user permissions. Our service operates between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
