We are a thriving and growing company in search of a Software Engineer to join our evidence management team in Krakow, this is Hybrid role. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a significant role in the development and growth of our software engineering projects. We are seeking a talented and proactive individual who can contribute to our team’s success and foster a spirit of collaboration within the company. Codzienne zadania: - Performance Engineering: Analyze database performance, troubleshoot high-latency queries, and assist development teams with schema design and query optimization. - Reliability & Availability: Maintain high availability and reliability of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) to meet defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs). - Observability: Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding solutions (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog) to proactively identify issues before they impact users. - Disaster Recovery: Design and test backup strategies, failover mechanisms, migrations and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity. - Incident Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to troubleshoot and resolve production database incidents, followed by post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
